This announcement primarily impacts Signal 88 users of Inteliguide & Patrolguide, since the default redirect has always pointed to the signal88 subdomain.
Automatic Redirects Are Changing
Until November 18th, 2014, navigating your web browser to
https://inteliguide.net
or
https://patrolguide.com
without typing in a specific subdomain (e.g. signal88) has redirected automatically to
https://signal88.inteliguide.net
and
https://signal88.patrolguide.com
respectively.
This has been the default behavior since V2 was released, and you may not have even noticed this was happening. After tomorrow, however, those Inteliguide & Patrolguide URLs entered without any subdomains will instead reflect our new marketing materials for Inteliguide & Patrolguide.
Please Update Saved Bookmarks to Feature the 'signal88' Subdomain
We expect there to be little disruption because most current bookmarks and links should reflect the signal88 subdomain, but I wanted to notify everyone before we make the change that they should double check their bookmarks, saved links, and shortcuts to make sure they feature the signal88 subdomain in the URL. Anyone still relying on the default redirect may be confused by seeing a brand new web site and marketing page that they've never seen before while trying to access the Inteliguide & Patrolguide applications. This may prompt calls for help if people experiencing this are unsure of what to do next to either log in and work, or access their reports.
Enter Your Company Subdomain to Access Inteliguide & Patrolguide
If you are looking for how to log into Inteliguide or Patrolguide, please be sure to enter your company subdomain like so:
https://signal88.inteliguide.net
https://signal88.patrolguide.com
We're using signal88 in the above example, but your subdomain may differ depending on what company you're working with.
That's all there is to it, nothing else in the Inteliguide & Patrolguide applications are changing. All your work and reports will still be there just like they are today.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this upcoming change.
